The gentlest of winds, Zephyr, is the harbinger of spring and fertility. The earth awakens and prepares for the new cycle of life after the long winter. According to various sources, there are reports that the god of the west wind and spring, Zephyrus, lived in a cave, not anywhere else, but in Thrace, in our lands.
That's why the grape we chose for our spring Rakia is the Black Sea Elixir variety, a cross between Dimyat and Misket. We grow it organically in our "vineyard library" of forgotten Bulgarian varieties in the village of Lesichovo, Pazardzhik. These 15-year-old vines are harvested after mid-September and fermentation takes place together with the skins to better extract the characteristic aromas.
We add a pinch of mystery and mastery of distillation and here you have in your hands Arkana Zephyra, mysterious and beautiful, delicate and floral like a spring flower.
Its fragrance opens with shades of white and yellow flowers, among which a thin thread of rose and violet shines through.
The short contact with Bulgarian oak delicately, like a tender kiss, enhances the taste of the rakia.
