The rakia has an intense and distinctive aroma for Muscat rakias: typical notes of rose in the spectrum of pleasant Turkish delight aromas, which quickly turn into surprising smoky nuances of sandalwood and sweet spices - cardamom, cloves and brown sugar. The taste brings a gentle sensation of white flowers, gyul leaves, followed by softly hinted notes of bergamot, dried apricot and wood bark. The aftertaste is long, multi-layered, with a pleasant honey note on the palate.
Food pairing: Try Arkana rakiay as a stand-alone aperitif or digestif. Step outside the typical salad pairing and experiment with cocktails (we recommend Rakia Sour, Rakia Merry), as well as main dishes without strong spice flavors.
